Anyway this week has been very productive for me. Except for the another accident I had in the kitchen last week. This time, I totally scraped off my nail from my finger and the knife went through inside my finger. RAWWWRR!! It hurts like hell!!! But my finger is happy now. Nothing really happened fun in culinary school this week. But next week is gonna be the practical exam and earlier I just had my written exam, in which I think I did fair enough. Probably 90% sure enough about everything else. But anyway this week we made...
And for the demo recipes...

see, I told you he's okay... LOL
Okay after school Me, Bunny, Raymond and Terrence went into Soi 4 (almost 1 more soi away from red light district :p) to check out this Italian Restaurant that everyone kept on talking about. It was cozy inside and a bit overdecorated, but it was all good since everything were placed strangely unique. Little did I know that the owner is an Italian which also happens to be the professor of my friend from an Interior Designing School. The place is called Vicolo 4. Check the site for more photos. This is how it looked like.
The next day I met up with Bonbon to go to the grocery at Emporium and buy the ingredients for my Quiche, since I really want to practice it. We had lunch at Fuji after. And on the way from Emporium to Bon's house, we saw a rally of Red Shirts around Phra Kanong. We were stuck in traffic for 45 minutes. (that's nothing in Manila) hahaha :P But anyway we got there safe. I met Bon's dogs, grandma, best friend and her sister for the first time.
We had to practice our recipes since exam is forthcoming, mine was the Quiche Lorraine and Bon made her Pear Tart. And her sister gave me a big block of some fine Gruyere cheese.... I didn't take it though. I just gave it back and used a little bit of it. But anyway me and Bon were rolling our dough bases during mid-day in an open air kitchen! :)))) Our doughs we're melting even if it just came right out of the freezer. But we did good and served to Tiki (Bon's sister) because it was her birthday. So glad that this family invited me even if I'm a total stranger to them :)))) We had lamb chops, fries, green curry pasta, salad and cakes. It was allllll good. I love this family <3<3<3>
I got back at Saladaeng so late. This was the last ride.

But anyway since they're coming from Siem Reap on a bus to Bangkok, I really didn't know where their stop would be. They were supposed to be in my apartment 4 hours earlier than expected but oh well the border immigration took them on hold for 3 hours. FANTASTIC. But all is well. They arrived safe. They had a 12-hour bus ride. The next day, I didn't go to them to the Grand Palace since I have to attend school, to get the last recipe exam for next week. But I followed them to Suan Lum to tour them around the night market. The next day, since I really want to go with them, I had to miss school. Karma? I got sick. LOVE ETT!! But it was worth being absent in school!!!
We went to Kao San road in the middle of the night to catch the late band at Centre Point. We had Pad Thai after at 3 am!!! BANGAG!!! And we went to Platinum Mall, Siam Square, Paragon, Central World the next morning. It was just fun to catch up with my friends. All the gossips that I missed and their leave without pay from work concerns. hahahahaaha. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
