Super Foodie Week

Hey guys sorry if I haven't been blogging, school has been much of a stress and next week is our FINALS. And still I have some immigration issues to fix, I'm still on a tourist Visa until now, but the school is working on it. WEEH! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TERM TO FINISH!!! We've got 24 days of vacation to spare after school. I'm not going back to Manila this time. I'm thinking about going to Cambodia and Vietnam with my sister, since she will be visiting soon. But anyway, how are you guys? I'm tired as f*** but still kicking. I could barely-HARDLY use my bed, since I'm always in school. Been cooking since Monday and been going out since last week. I just cannot blame no one but me. xxx I'm feeling like a zombie now. I need to be well-rested by next week. RAAAAAWRRR!!!

But anyway school has been still.... fun. Really? lol.. Well it's almost killing me and my time, so, fair enough. I'm actually benefiting from it... FAIR ENUFF!!! Can't imagine how many times I have washed my whites for this month. BLAH. My fridge won't even accommodate more food since I've been bringing home food everyday and I can't even finish it. Saturday last week, BonBon dragged me to BK Magazine's "DO it with BK", wherein you will dine out with the staff and other avid readers. We went to Mango Forest @ Narathiwas road. Mango Forest, a Thai/Italian fusion restaurant renowned for its innovative mango-based dishes. We did mango avocado in the sea and tasted the capellini with salmon and mango and caviar in tomato sauce—all paired with free-flow cocktails. It was fun. I met some fun people, and as usual, they thought I was Thai. :p It was a fun night though... will definitely go back here. Well i'll try to grabe the photo from the BK Magazine, which I think should come out by next week. You can see me so serious about my plating with my Mango Avocado Shrimp Salad.. :PPP

Oh my lord how many stories am I gonna elaborate this time since so many things happened last week!!! Never been so tired and ached in my entire life. I feel like throwing myself into bed right now, but since this is mandatory then I shall do it. Seriously. But everything has been good... No crappy stuff yet, but I can see that coming, and will be expecting it since I don't know what the world is up to. teehee... :p But anyway, I have never been so tired and ached. Everyday is like school day and believe me, since we need to do a lot of catching up, they made us go to school even on Sundays... ugh...8:30 am on a Sunday MORNING. And plus the feeling of waking up saying to yourself "sh*t it's laundry day again today, oh wait, everyday has been laundry day!!!" that feeling. Ugh. 3 more weeks and I'm done with intermediate.

oh this is the school's new chef, Chef Christophe Jean. He's been really nice and has been giving us good grades. :p
Tart with Pear and cream
Puff Pastry with Meat Stuffing and hard boiled egg

jalapeno poppers. haha... Flour Coated Bell Peppers with tomatoes.

What I have noticed is that, mostly of the food we make in school, resembles of something that we make locally or neither. French food must be really influential. But anyway I got the chance to have dinner with the Superior Pastry People and Cha! We all went to Thailand Cultural Center Station and within the vicinity there's this japanese restaurant called Yamato. Fun night with people whom I just met.
chef willy was theresuperior pastry people with cha wearing adobo. :p
Make (his name is Make) my seatmate is just 19!, and Lee Fung is from Reunion Island
salmon roll

Then the next day was Steven's Birthday. God this boy is really young I met him, he was just 19 and now still 20. This was the night when I burned my throat from that 70% Bacardi rhum. Well I could only blame one person, but I enjoyed the burn. This night was fun. Never been so drunk, never had that much hangover, never had that much beer and yet can still consume for more. AWESOME night. Well partly I could blame P'Nam. hahaha but I will not. :p

a special guest came. RAYMOND! we miss you m*fcKr
probably the funnest people to get drunk with.
and blame it all to this lady. :p Love you P'Nam!!!
this Vietnamese kid just turned 20! Happy Birthday STEVONN.

Oh btw I already got my exam list... My knees are buckling and shivering. all i can say is shit!

nervousness.
I think I need to polish my French.

Well I will blog some more next week. That's just it for now. I need to finish my Laundry for tomorrow's class. FREAKING SATURDAY NOON!!! ugh...
