Yesterday, I really didn't know what was happening back the in the Philippines, until my twitter feed started becoming ballistic over this Mendoza guy, who was a former police, dismissed due to extortion and other allegations, who then took full control of the bus and started showering bullets after seeing his brother being manhandled by the local police. Great. Just great. I don't really know the exact story but I can tell that this guy is psychotic and so as the Philippine National Police.
Ugh anyway. ulk. Sorry I've been really busy guys. Waaaazzzzzzappp? I'm good. I'm feeling sick today. My throat is killing me and yet till now, I'm devouring over this piece of sticky bun! I smell fever coming soon. I've been watching this show called "The Best Thing I Ever Ate". It features food network chefs and other foodie personalities sharing their "best thing I ever ate" experiences. It was 2am and I was watching this show, I was hungry... andthen Bobby Flay started unraveling that brioche dough with caramel and pecans and it was justtt... OOOHHH..."I WANT THAT!!!" Watch it guys. But don't watch it with an empty stomach. It will be the worst torture.
yummeehhhhhhh... goo over brioche!!!
Going back to culinary school. Well everything seems okay I think. Nothing really seriously disastrous happened. Everything is in track. For the past two weeks, I realized, "I think I'm ready to face the real world" LOL. No. I don't know yet. But I must...soon. :))))) Time flies so fast. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was back at home, surfing the net and looking for culinary schools. But a month and a half more, I'm gonna be a chef!!! wow. Anyway, for the past two weeks it has been a hell. I was sick. And yes till now. Pretty lost I must say! But to be fair enough, I'm still ok. just ok. ;p FECK! But ANYWAY... this week we made...
And for the past week, I met Cha's friend, Carissa, who came to Bangkok for a vacation. She was nice, shy and smiley. I went back to Khao San again and this time I think it was my 10th time. I just can't stop going there. People are nice...beers are pricey (lol). And it's a great place to meet new people. That night I was eating this street food pad thai, when suddenly this Australian guy come up to me and asked me "are those chilis??!?!?#?$#?" I said no, those are dried shrimps. He said back "oh i like your hair", I said thanks. Just like that, without even saying "hi". It's great to meet foreign people in a foreign land. Juzz like dutt.
Okay let's move to early this morning. It was the Miss Universe Pageant 2010. I was so happy for Maria Venus Raj. She got in the top 15 and in the top 5!!! She graduated college with honors but I didn't really get the Q&A segment. It was like an acceptance speech rather than the actual answer. Here's the video...
I think she was just too overwhelmed about the moment. Too nervous. But props to her. She looked stunning.
and the pubes on top hahahaha (eggplant skin)vegetable mold with basil

One time last week, my friends and I went to this all-you-can-eat japanese yakiniku place at Sukhumvit. It's situated inside the City State Tower and it's called Giants Yakiniku. The place is not bad at all, given the fact that it's always jam packed and the cue line never goes down, so expect a little something off. But all in all it was ok. We had 5 kinds of meat to grill. We had marinated chicken, kalbi beef, pork slice, and salmon and mushroom. All was good. ALL YOU CAN EAT. The bill was around 500 Baht each. Not bad at all.Magret in Salt Dough with strips of vegetables and Potato Crisp
