Madrid FINAL STOP!

YOWWwwww... hello it's been a week already and still im looking for a job. doh. Does anyone of you know any jobs I could get in to? or any internships? lol. MANILA BASED FOR NOW. Im desperateeeee help. :))))

But hi there stranger. How long has it been? a week? Okay, im good for now. I'm just really bored that I don't get to anything productive. Everyday is a waste of time and money. ulk. So back from Spain still...and hangover hasn't fully kicked out. My body clock is still a mess, I just woke up like 3 hours ago and it's already 8 pm. wth.

So let me tell you my Madrid. Madrid is the land of ISABEL PREYSLER for your knowledge. She's this super hot Filipina mom of Enrique Iglesias. But whatevr, Madrid is nice. Very busy. COLDER than San Sebastian actually. We only stayed there for a couple of days in a hostel, enough for shopping and a little bit of tourist moment. We braved the subway system from the Airport. We didn't get to see the Plaza Mayor but we went to Palacio Real. I really wonder why most European cities are gloomy.

By night, Madrid just really transforms into this New York-like city. The european feel in the morning and the urban feeling at night. nice. After a whole of shopping we went to this eat all you can Spanish resto with overlooking view of Calle Gran Via. We were deprived from good food. lol.

There are lots of common things in Spain and in the Philippines. Well of course Zara and Mango are Spanish brands, but I didn't know that it could be "that" cheap for them. Price wise. A simple sweater in Manila would cost you around 3,000 PHP or 50 Euros, in Spain it's around 15 Euros or 800 PHP??? DOH. In Manila, these stores are in their "immaculate" condition. While in Spain, it's like a thrift shop.

and this is MANILA. hahaha. how fancy.

So the next day, we planned to go far away from our area. We went to Serrano, luxury capital of Madrid. And so I heard from the grapevine that my "mom" Isabel Preysler lived around the area. :)) stalker. But the main goal was to buy Longchamp bags to bring home. When we arrived at the Serrano district, all stores were still closed. So we went to the Museo Arqueológico Nacional, right in front of the Longchamp store and Isabel Preysler's former penthouse. But back to normal, we had McDonalds for breakfast.

So we arrived at Serrano with a Longchamp store closed... err we went to the Museum.

When we arrived at the Longchamp store, I had a small talk with one of the saleslady (in spanish of course chos) in there. I was looking for a Jeremy Scott Longchamp but they ran out. It was only around 172 Euros. In Rustan's it was around 22,000 Php or 400 Euros. DOH. over! And I told her that usually a bag would cost you 100 euros in Philippines. But in reality it's so much cheaper in Europe. Usually 50% half of it's Philippine price. DOHHH!
